  • AI Drafts Are Suggestions: AI-written text can contain mistakes or details that do not apply to you. Read and edit every draft before you use it.
  • You Retain Full Review Control: Autocater never submits applications on your behalf automatically. You must review the populated information on screen before manually clicking "Next" or "Submit Application".
  • Accuracy of Information: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all data submitted to prospective employers (including job titles, employment dates, legal work authorization status, and certifications) is accurate, truthful, and up-to-date.
  • No Guarantee of Employment: Autocater is a productivity and assistive software tool. We do not guarantee job interviews, offers, or specific employment outcomes.

4. Data Ownership & Privacy Guarantee

You own 100% of your candidate profile data, resume contents, and application history. In accordance with our Privacy Policy:

  • Your profiles are stored on your device in your browser. Text you choose to send to an AI feature is processed as described in the Privacy Policy and is not saved by Autocater.
  • We do not claim any intellectual property rights or ownership over your resumes or application submissions.
  • You may export, backup, or delete your data at any time directly through the extension interface.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Autocater only for lawful personal job-seeking purposes. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary algorithms from the extension package.
  • Use Autocater to generate fraudulent applications, transmit malicious payloads, or spam recruitment portals with false candidate identities.
  • Circumvent or tamper with security controls or licensing mechanisms.
  • Publicly share, resell, publish, or distribute personal Pro license keys. License keys are issued strictly for individual personal use across your authorized devices. We reserve the right to revoke keys detected in unauthorized public circulation without refund.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Autocater is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Third-party job portals (such as Workday, Greenhouse, or Lever) may periodically alter their webpage structures or field selectors. While we keep updating Autocater to follow these changes, we do not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every custom employer portal.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Autocater and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the extension, including but not limited to missed application deadlines or recruitment decisions made by prospective employers.

  • Overall Limit: To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Autocater in the 12 months before the claim arose (or nothing more than that if you use only the free features).
  • What We Never Exclude: Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for gross negligence, intentional wrongdoing or fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

  • Before a Chargeback: Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank. A refund we approve reaches you faster than a bank dispute, and a disputed or refunded payment switches off the license key it bought.
