Autocater was built for everyday people. You don't need any technical skills, developer accounts, or configuration to use it.
Add Your Details in Seconds
Click the Autocater icon in your browser to get started. You only need to set up your details once:
- Drop in Your Resume: Drop in your resume PDF or click CV. Autocater automatically reads your name, email, phone number, and links so you don't have to type them out by hand.
- Easy to Edit: Want to make adjustments? You can type or update any detail directly inside the extension whenever you want.
- Private by Design: Your contact details are read on your computer. Autocater asks before sending your resume to AI to fill in your jobs and education. No accounts required, no tracking.
Create Profiles for Different Jobs
Easily switch between different types of roles without retyping your information every time:
- Multiple Job Profiles: Click + New to save different versions of your profile (for example, applying for a Manager role vs. an Assistant role, or Full-Time vs. Contract).
- Save Common Answers: Set your earliest start date and work eligibility answers once so you never have to click through repetitive dropdown questions on job sites.
- Switch in One Click: Change your active profile anytime directly from the top menu.
Open Any Job Application Page
Browse to any job posting on the web just like you normally do:
- Works on Every Major Job Site: Autocater automatically recognizes almost every modern job application form.
- Helpful, Never in the Way: When an application form appears, a neat [ Autofill with Autocater ] button appears quietly in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
- Only When You Need It: It only appears on actual job application forms—it stays completely hidden when you are browsing articles, social media, or search results.

Let Autocater fill in the form fields for you in less than a second:
- One-Click Filling: Click the button, and your details instantly fill into the application form with green checkmarks.
- No More Copy-Pasting: No need to switch between tabs to copy your phone number, past experience, or profile links.
- You're Always in Control: Autocater never submits the form for you. You can review your information, add any extra notes, and click "Submit" whenever you are ready.
Automatically Track Your Applications
Autocater doesn't just fill forms; it helps you organize your entire job hunt in one private place.
- Add Jobs: Open the extension and click the Tracker tab. Click + Add Job to manually record an application, or rely on Autocater's smart detection to track it as you apply.
- Manage Statuses: Easily update a job's status from Applied to Interviewing, Offer, or Archived.
- Private Notes: Each job card has a space for private notes. Jot down interviewer names, salary expectations, or interview dates.
- Export & Print: Click Download Spreadsheet to save your job list as a spreadsheet, or Print Job Log to generate a clean PDF log (useful for unemployment work-search proof).
Smart AI Answers & Playground
Beyond filling routine contact fields, Autocater crafts authentic answers to tricky open-ended questions (e.g. "Why do you want to work here?").
- Career Highlights: In Settings, add your top accomplishments and target roles. Autocater uses this so every draft sounds genuine to you.
- The Playground (3 Free Drafts): Not ready to apply yet? Open the Playground from the extension menu to test the AI Assistant in a safe, simulated environment. You get 3 free drafts to play with!
- On-Page Drafting (7 Free Drafts): On any real job application, click the Draft with AI button floating on your screen. New users receive 7 Free ATS Drafts to use on live applications.
- Unlimited Pro License: Need more drafts? You can unlock unlimited AI drafts with a Monthly Flex or 3-Month Job Hunt pass.
Settings & Customization
Autocater is designed to feel like home. Customize your experience in the Settings menu (the gear icon).
- Themes & Cursors: Change the extension's look with custom themes (Zen, Matcha, Nordic, Sunset) and playful custom cursors (Standard, Paw, Dot, etc.).
- Google Account Sync: Toggle Google Account Sync to automatically sync your profiles and job tracker securely across all computers signed into your Chrome profile.
- Backup & Restore: Download a 1-click backup of all your data, or restore a previous backup instantly.
- Pro License: If you purchase a paid pass, this is where you enter your License Key to activate unlimited AI drafts.
Works on Most Career Sites
Autocater works on most company career sites and the application systems behind them, with zero configuration. When a job board sends you on to the employer's application form, Autocater recognizes the form fields and fills them in one click:

A Firefox version is not available yet. For now, use Autocater in Chrome or another browser listed here.
